A friend of mine recently quipped, "You want to know the way to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice!" I suppose that's true, but another way is if your daughter's high school choir is chosen to perform there! I found myself in that position last Friday night, sitting in the venerable theater and watching my daughter, Paris, along with her amazingly talented Providence Singers choir from Providence High School perform. If you care to see and hear the song they sang, click on the video. After they sang, they remained on stage and eventually joined about 300 other high schoolers from around the country to sing five songs together in closing out the show. It was a truly amazing experience.
